Kittleman & Associates, an executive search firm, analyzed the resumes of every Fortune 500 CEO in the U.S. to determine where they received their undergraduate degrees. The institutions included in this list feature both public and private university systems that produced anywhere from three to 14 Fortune 500 CEOs. At the top of the list is the University of Wisconsin. The school maintains an enrollment of about 43,800 students and charged over $10,500 in in-state tuition and fees for the 2018-19 school year. Out-of-state tuition for the institution was $36,805. Following the University of Wisconsin was such prestigious universities as Harvard, Cornell, Stanford, and the University of Pennsylvania. Bucknell University, a private institution that maintains a total enrollment of about 3,678 students, came in 12th with a total of five Fortune 500 CEOs. Tuition for Bucknell for the 2018-19 year was $56,092.
