An accomplished real estate investment professional, Eugene Gorab currently serves as the President and CEO of Greenfield Partners, which he founded in 1997. Eugene Gorab is an active member of several nonprofit organizations, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Founded in 1936, ULI represents the interest of more than 40,000 members in the responsible use of land and development of communities worldwide. Guided by its mission, ULI has partnered with the National League of Cities, an advocacy group that provides education, research, and support to the city leaders in the United States. Together, they established the Rose Center for Public Leadership in Land Use, which aims to support and encourage local governments to develop efficient, creative, and sustainable land-use policies. One of the programs of the Rose Center is the Daniel Rose Fellowship, which delivers actionable insights, peer-to-peer learning, and comprehensive analysis to city leaders. The Daniel Rose Fellowship is funded, in part, by ULI Foundation Governor Daniel Rose who committed $5 million to the program in 2008. Besides the fellowship program, the Rose Center also hosts various forums and workshops that tackle effective strategies on how to successfully build communities across the country. |
